The Buhari years are hardly behind us, and a renewed hardship has emanated. In Issue 4 we look at the report card from Buhari’s government and how the baton passed down to Tinubu gives no assurance of radical change in governance. With increased cost of living and more Nigerians slipping into poverty, the ruling party seems oblivious to the necessary changes it has to make at the top. One month in, the slogan of renewed hope has shifted from “It is my turn” to “Let the poor breathe.”
